Our Team
Dr. Steve LaFevers has been practicing dentistry in Goldsboro, NC, since 1969. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Bacteriology from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1965, followed by his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1969. Following dental school he was stationed at Seymour Johnson AFB from 1969-1971. After which he started private practice in Goldsboro on July 23, 1971. Dr. Steve LaFevers is currently a member of several dental societies, including the American Dental Association. He has a wife, Sharon, four children, and currently 9 grandchildren.
Dr. Scott LaFevers was born and raised in Goldsboro, NC. He graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in 1997. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance (2001) and his Master of Business Administration in Health Care Management (2002) from East Carolina University. He attended UNC – Chapel Hill School of Dentistry and graduated in 2006. Dr. Scott LaFevers is active in various dental societies and organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a proud member or the Military Affairs Committee. He has a wife, Kim and two daughters, Bree and Anna Scott.
Dr. Mark Donoway was born and raised in Snow Hill, MD. He graduated with honors from North Carolina State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. From Raleigh, Dr. Donoway attended the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland, where he graduated in 2004. Next, was commissioned by the US Air Force as a Captain in the Dental Corps where he served at Barksdale AFB, LA, Robins AFB, GA, and Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. The advanced training Dr. Donoway received during his active duty service has helped him treat the men and women of our nationals armed forces with the most advanced therapies available today. Now, that same commitment to care is offered to our local community, friends, and families. He has a wife Katie, a daughter Lily, a son Graham, and a dog Macon.
Hi, my name is Amy. I am the Office Manager at LaFevers Dental Team and have been a part of the team since September of 2007. I have been married for 12 years and have a daughter, Camryn. Hi! My Name is Rosanne. I graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at Wayne Community College over 30 years ago! I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Steve LaFevers for more than 16 years. I am married and have a daughter Nikki, married to Albert Wood, and a son Taylor, married to Heather Jones. I am very active in my church, Girl Scouting and family camping trips. Hi everyone! My name is Heather Jones. I am a 2008 graduate of Campbell University with a BA in Criminal Justice. I am currently the Accounts/Treatment Manager and have been a part of the LaFevers Dental for just over 1 year. I have been married to Taylor Jones (Rosanne's son) since 06/14/08. Hello, my name is Annabelle. I began my dental assisting career in Wallace, NC in 1978. From there, I worked in an orthodontic practice in Wilmington, NC for 20 years. My family and I moved to Goldsboro in 2006. After 24 years in orthodontics, I've returned to my first love of general dentistry by joining LaFevers Dental Team in August 2010.
